Language learning opportunities are everywhere! Our lives are busy, but we don’t need to wait till playtime to “teach” language.

Swipe through for some ideas of language that can be modelled when you’re asking your child to help you out! Examples of some little favours are: bringing or throwing things away, setting things aside, giving things to others, or even passing along messages. It can look slightly different for early stage talkers (i.e. children who are babbling or using single words) and later stage talkers (i.e. children who are using word combinations). Have a think about how your child usually communicates and choose some phrases to start using today!
